Carl Siegfried Ritter von Georg
Kapitänleutnant, Commander, German Submarine U-101

He was awarded the Pour le Mérite Order in recognition of his success in sinking a total of 200,187 tons of enemy shipping including a British light cruiser.

On 23 June 1918 he was also awarded the Knights Cross of Bayern Military Max Joseph Order by Bayerischer King Ludwig III. His ship submarine U-101 was surrendered to the British on 21 November 1918 and scrapped during 1919 at Morecambe, England.
